2 Day Training: Tuesday (10/23) and Wednesday (10/24)
Class Summary:
This two-day demonstration and lab-oriented class teaches IT professionals, penetration testers, and developers how to emulate a modern hacking threat using Cobalt Strike, Armitage, and the
Metasploit Framework. This course starts with the basics and quickly moves into the workflow of modern hacker threats.
During the labs, you will execute the tactics presented manually to connect with the material. You will also have an opportunity to use tools, to see how things are done “the easy way”. This course concludes with an open-ended exercise where you will attack a simulated corporate network and use your new skills to achieve one of four objectives. The objectives require you to gain access through spear phishing and client-side attacks, spy on users, sift through data, and use your foothold to attack hosts until you reach your objective.
The course topics include:
- Penetration Testing Process and Threat Emulation
- The Metasploit Framework, Armitage, and Cobalt Strike
- Attacking with Exploits
- Attacking with Features
- Social Engineering and Spear Phishing
- Defeating Security Products
- Post Exploitation – How to spy on a user
- Manuever – Attack from a foothold
- Team Operations
